On the Road with the Motoring Historian: Iconic Gixxer, LA Fires

Jon Summers is the Motoring Historian. He was a company car thrashing technology sales rep that turned into a fairly inept sports bike rider. On his show he gets together with various co-hosts to talk about new and old cars, driving, motorbikes, motor racing, motoring travel.

Jon embarks on highway journey where he discusses his most recent experiences, including winning an auction for a Gixxer 1100 motorcycle in Santa Monica and navigating the aftermath of the 2025 LA fires. He includes his road trip details, the challenges of riding different models, and his visit to Iconic Motorsports, where he picks up his newly acquired Gixxer 1100.
